- Ovulation is happening or about to happen.
- If sperm meet the egg in the fallopian tube, fertilisation occurs.
- The fertilised egg starts dividing as it travels toward the uterus.
What you may feel
- Mid-cycle pelvic twinges (mittelschmerz).
- Cervical mucus thinner + stretchier.
- Slight increase in basal body temperature after ovulation.

- Time intercourse around ovulation if trying.
- Continue folic acid.
- Use an ovulation tracker if helpful.
