Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on BumpBites are affiliate links. Here's exactly what that means, and how we keep recommendations honest.
Last updated 15 May 2026
1. What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link contains a tracking code that tells a retailer or merchant that you visited their site through BumpBites. If you make a qualifying purchase after clicking, the retailer may pay us a small commission. This costs you nothing extra.
2. Programs We Participate In
BumpBites participates in affiliate programs including (but not limited to):
- Amazon Associates
- Impact (multiple brand partners)
- ShareASale (multiple brand partners)
- Direct partnerships with selected pregnancy, nutrition, and parenting brands
3. Editorial Independence
We only recommend products we genuinely believe in. Receiving a commission does not influence which products we cover, the verdict we give in our food safety database, or the medical accuracy of our content.
- Affiliate placements do not affect our food Safe / Limit / Avoid verdicts.
- Reviewers and editors are not paid by brands.
- Sponsored placements are clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership."
- Where multiple comparable products exist, we present options rather than a single sponsored pick.
You can read more about our content process in our Editorial Policy.
4. How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links and product cards are marked with a disclosure such as "We may earn a commission" or with a small tag. We strive to make this clear at the point of click.
5. FTC Compliance
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"), we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously. Similar disclosure rules apply in the UK, EU, India, and other regions, and we strive to comply with all of them.
6. Returns, Warranties & Customer Service
When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, you are buying from the retailer — not from BumpBites. Returns, exchanges, warranties, and customer-service issues are handled by the retailer under their own terms.
7. Questions
If you ever have a question about whether a link is affiliate, sponsored, or editorial, email editorial@bumpbites.health and we will tell you straight.
