About
Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making BumpBites usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology.
Last updated 15 May 2026
Our Commitment
BumpBites is built to be accessible to people of all abilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard where reasonably practicable.
What we do
- Semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret structure correctly.
- Visible focus rings on interactive elements.
- Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page.
- Sufficient color contrast for body text and UI controls.
- Alt text for informative images.
- Keyboard navigation for all primary flows.
- Captions or transcripts on video content where available.
Known limitations
Some areas of the Service may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA yet. We are actively working on these:
- Older legacy blog images that lack descriptive alt text.
- Some video content without captions or transcripts.
- Third-party embedded widgets that may not be fully accessible.
Report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us so we can fix it. Include the page URL and what happened. Email accessibility@bumpbites.health. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Assistive technology
BumpBites is tested with recent versions of common screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, TalkBack on Android) and current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
